TICKET SALES KIOSKS

  • You can buy one-way tickets and 30-day multi-tickets from Elektriraudtee Ltd trains
  • 30-day ühiskaart is available only as an ID-ticket. More information can be found www.pilet.ee

THE USE OF TICKETS

  • Only tickets sold for use on Elektrirraudtee Ltd trains are valid on Elektriraudtee Ltd trains;
  • The joint-multi-ticket called 'ühiskaart' is valid in Elektriraudtee Ltd trains and also in Tallinn: on buses, trams and trolley buses;
  • When you enter the train, without owning a valid ticket, you have to buy one immediately. Tickets are sold by the train attendant, purchase can be made using only cash;
  • A valid ticket must be preserved until the end of the passage. A broken, disrubted or otherwise damaged ticket is invalid;
  • Unused tickets are not re-purchased by Elektriraudtee Ltd

DISCOUNTS

  • Elektriraudtee AS offers free passage (in accordance with the Public Transport Act) for the following persons: pre-school children, children with disabilities and persons with profound disabilities;
  • Tickets meant for students and pensioners are valid only in conjunction with an appropriate certificate (student ID, pensioner ID). The certificate must be presented to the train attendant when asked.

THE CHECKING OF TICKETS AND FINING POLICIES

  • A person who does not own a valid ticket or a certificate proving otherwise, is considered to be a passenger with no ticket;
  • The right to ask and check for a valid ticket is amongst Elektriraudtee Ltd crew and Harju County employees in accordance with the Public Transport Act § 5411. The right to fine passengers without a valid ticket is given to Harju County employees.
  • The Harju County employees have the right (in accordance with the Public Transport Act 5410 § § 547) to fine a passenger without a valid ticket. The maximum rate of the fine exceeds to 10 penalty units (that is 600 EEK).

ELEKTRIRAUDTEE LTD PASSENGER SERVICES

In accordanvce with the Elektriraudtee Ltd "Passenger Transportation Regulation" passengers are prohibited from travelling without a valid ticket in Elektriraudtee Ltd trains.

Elektriraudtee Ltd. employees have the right to ask and certify the existence of a valid ticket. This right is in accordance with the Elektriraudtee Ltd  "Passenger Transportation Regulation".

According to Elektriraudtee Ltd "Passenger Transportation Regulation" passengers are prohibited:

  • Smoke, drink alcohol or use psychotropic substances in Elektriraudtee Ltd trains;
  • Ignore the rules and disturb the public order in Elektriraudtee Ltd trains;
  • Disturb the work of Elektriraudtee Ltd crew and ticket-controlles

A passenger, who violates the before-mentioned regulation, can and will be removed from the train in accordance to the Elektriraudtee Ltd "Passenger Transportation Regulation". The right to do so lies on the Elektriraudtee Ltd crew and third parties authorized to do so.

Elektriraudtee Ltd is not responsible for things left on the train!
